Tanzanian Tourism minister admitted that there has been an increase in poaching

Tanzanian Government admitted that there has been increase in poaching elephants in the national reserves in recent days due to increase of price from 100$- 1100$ per ivory in the Asian countries, the statement was given by the deputy Minister for Tourism and Natural Resource when speaking with press at the graduation ceremony held at Mweka college of African wildlife management in Moshi
The minister added that to combat the problem, the government will employ more rangers and modern facilities to fight against poaching
